訓練學生英文聽,說,讀,寫,翻譯的能力。

課程概述

上課方式:(1)看影片或報章雜誌 (2)分組討論 (3)回答問題 (4)根據英文影片或音檔寫摘要。以上全部以英文進行。除了課堂上的練習學生必須於課後自行連上本課程教學網頁訓練英文聽力與字彙。

本課程強調英語聽說讀寫能力的整合,每週有網路練習。影片以TED及Youutube影片為主。 

課程目標
1. 精讀課文內容及所有練習。掌握課本中的文法,單字及閱讀策略。
2. 掌握學術字彙(University Word List)http://jbauman.com/UWL.html及衍生字。
3. 學會使用搭配語辭典修改句子。
4. 學會使用字典檢查句型是否正確。
5. 學會檢查作文是否通順連貫。
6. 學會基本的段落寫作。
7. 能聽懂CNN廣播節目75%以上。
8. 能看懂紐約時報90%以上。
9. 能以英語簡報,並能回答聽眾問題。 
10. 能夠以各種工具改善英文作文及中英翻譯。 
課程要求
上課準時出席,作業按時繳交,口頭報告充分準備,線上練習全力以赴。
每週需熟練英文報導數篇,影片數則。
